Being told by LifeGate, a reference point for sustainability in Italy, is an important recognition for us: It allows us to position Vigneto Sicuro not only as an operational tool for the vineyard, but also as a relevant solution in climate adaptation strategies and reduction of environmental impact.
What we talked about
In the article LifeGate presents Vigneto Sicuro as a concrete technological response to the critical issues generated by climate change in the wine sector. Starting from the OIV figure on the decline in global production (the lowest value in 60 years in 2024), the article places our platform in the broader context of the need for tools that improve wine resilience.
We explained how the solution works: an artificial intelligence system that captures real-time data, calculates disease risk indices on geolocated vineyards and sends personalised notifications via email and WhatsApp, three days before the incubation of the disease. The approach does not require sensors in the field and aims to provide timely and actionable alerts to reduce unnecessary treatments.
Results and numbers
LifeGate reports a stated accuracy rate of between 90% and 99% It indicates more than 6,000 winegrowers registered on the platform. These numbers reinforce the perception of an already mature and widely adopted product, capable of offering reliable recommendations to operators in the vineyard.
